afaik: airsoft vests, normally have something like "no ballistic protection", "do not use in real combat situations", written on the inside

I bet it's real. All airsoft product are labelled as "for novelty use only". They would not go as far as replicating safety label and lot number.

its real. if it said fragment and 9mm protective insert on it, then it is more than likely real, and yeah it would say do not use in combat, etc. frag vests arent really that expensive. i got one for 50 bucks.
