It is pretty interesting, I'm looking forwards to when the rest of them are released. http://dev.links.com.au/diorama/index.htm

I'd like to see you do better. :p

Staying on topic, I've gotta say that those dioramas are pretty nifty in the flesh as well. There's a ****load of them too, which is always a bonus.

Those displays are fantastic. I'm hoping to get to the war museum next year sometime. Might try for another ANZAC day

Excellent - need a mention of the bloke with the donkey though.
Its apet peeve of mine that he never got the VC he deserved thanks to beuracracy.

There is a school of thought that if it wasn't for the donkey, no one would know of Simpson and he'd be just one of the many medics who went above and beyond the call of duty at Gallipoli.

There is also a school of thort that says he may well have deserved a VC, but then so would hundreds of other blokes who never got any recognition. I think the awarding of medals is arbitrary at best, and we can't really just single out one bloke.

Yeah, too right. In the Chaos that was the landings and the subsequent battles I don't think people were out with Bino's looking for potential VC winners.
Simpson stood out because of the Donkey.
