I'm looking to replace my 6 year old tried and trusted G-Shock. It's been a great watch, surviving countless exercises, 3 overseas trips, shocks hard enough to break the band and my wrist but not the watch itself. I recently had the batteries replaced and the watchmakers ****ed up the waterproof seal, and therefore it's no longer waterproof.
I'm thinking about replacing it with an Analog face watch, such as a H3, Luminox or Traser. None of the lads I work with have one (they all wear G-shocks too) so I'm after some end-user reports. Such as how bright does the tritium stay after a year, if the bands are strong (especially the buckle and keeper), if you can use it as a timer, if they make any annoying 'ticking' or beeping sounds, and so on. Cheers.
