I do a lot of my grading and research on the computer, so I flip back and forth. I teach half time and do grant work half time. I also sleep very little, so when my work is done and my kids are in bed.... I end up here a lot. :D

I do a lot of my grading and research on the computer, so I flip back and forth. I teach half time and do grant work half time. I also sleep very little, so when my work is done and my kids are in bed.... I end up here a lot. :D

Reason I ask is cause my folks know a couple that are highschool teachers and they are stressing out right now. They got 3 boys and are goen crazy to get things done. They get 4 hours sleep, and even have to send the kids to thier grandparents this time of year to focus on work and whatnot.

Basically, when her students are doing **** not involving direct interaction with the teacher, she goes on the computer in the classroom and browses...and every day the students think she's becoming more and more insane as she cracks up at the computer. Right FG?

That has been known to happen. :D.... although when I have kids in my room.... I'm rarely on the board. I usually check before school.... during my prep period and when I'm doing computer work after I'm done teaching...

About your aunts, I have read somewhere that often people that learned a language
when they were young, and if they don´t speak it that often then, they forget it.
But the strange part is, when people get old they kind of remember the language
again. Maybe it´s because speaking is one of the most basic features of a human,
and the "not so important" stuff is forgotten when one becomes old, and then the
language that has been there somewhere in the back of the head, comes back in
the memory again.

I read it in a tabloid newspaper, so don´t know how true it might be though.
