Estonia bought about 60 XA-200 vehicles

So Estonians have more SISU APCs in A-stan than Finns themselves.
Finns brought their first APCs, two of them, to A-stan at beginning of November '06.

having worked with the lads in helmand i was impressed both by the estonian equipment and the men themselves good phots.
i was looking in the pics for one of the apcs which always had a red plastic chair attached to the side of it which used to make me laugh.

More important thing with magnifier is to keep it within proper eye relief (some 7-8cm from your eye that is). I can't tell how it works when holo or collimating sight are placed that far forward, but I guess it will do. Anyway Estonians have rather limited choice of mounts for it, since those Galils have only relatively short AK style side mounts to put any optic over the receiver cover, while the Magnifier was made rather with regard to work with long monolitic flattop P-rail of AR's and similiar rifles.

Jippo, have you used the magnifier in similiar configuration? I have only shot with it when mounted on C8 closely behind the EOTech.

Ok, I suspected that might be the case.

About the tanks, has there been any talk about getting Finnish T-72s? As far as I know they are going to be scrapped. I'd understand though if would not want them - they are not much use against modern tanks the way they are and propably cost a lot to keep in fighting condition.

I saw this vehicle in the docu "fightin the taliban" (excellent peice of journalism btw) most unusual but seemed to cope with the terrain well. What is the name?

It's a SWB version of the Mamba developped by Alvis. Think it's called the Alvis Acorn or something like that.

4 sub albums, from left: Estcoy-5 patrol at Now Zad; NSE-4 logistic component doings; Estcoy-5 patrol at Now Zad; Estcoy-5 operation.

Would comment on this: http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/1575/adhbi1.th.jpg (http://img229.imageshack.us/my.php?image=adhbi1.jpg)Estcoy-5 should be first to go out with Negev LMGs(bought from Israel, in middle of 90s).The ones we got had some problems and they never got used much, probably some of them got fixed or something, haven't got any information on that yet.
