Major Christopher Chambers is the Deputy Director of the U.S. Army’s Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis (OEMA) at the United States Military Academy. As part of OEMA, Major Chambers provides analytic support to the Army staff, Army personnel community and MACOM Commanders, across a spectrum of policy issues. He is also the Deputy Project Director for America’s Army, a PC game designed to provide civilians with an inside perspective and a virtual role in today’s modern Army.

In fall of 2002, Major Chambers deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom to assist in the reconstruction of the Afghan National Army. His participation in combat operations while in Afghanistan will contribute to future scenario development for America's Army game missions.

Major Chambers serves as an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Social Sciences at West Point, and was part of the adjunct faculty for the University of Maryland and John Jay College. His courses include Economics; Corporate Finance; Money, Banking and the Financial Markets; Accounting; and Econometrics.

As an Infantry Officer, he has served in a variety of positions to include Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Operations Officer, Peacekeeping Force Liaison, and Battalion Executive Officer in units in CONUS, Germany, and Egypt. Major Chambers received many military decorations including the Dept. of Defense and Army level Meritorious Service Medals, the Army Commendation and Achievement Medals, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Expert Infantryman Badge, and the Airborne Badge.

Major Chambers is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author/co-author of numerous studies for the G1 and G3 of the Army, chapters in the Armed Forces Guide for Personal Financial Planning, as well as articles for military-themed and outdoor industry magazines.

A native of Stoneham, Massachusetts, he now resides in Salisbury Mills, NY with his wife, Cathy.

I sent some pics in here: http://media.militaryphotos.net/photos/album14

There are many here with a lot of experience and expertise, people could learn quite a bit if they stopped all the political flaming and asked mil related questions....
