My understanding of the conflict is that a significant portion of it was fought in/around the Shatt al Arab waterways(I think the disputed ownership of this area was A big reason for the conflict).

Anyone having trained in similiar areas would know it's no fun.....especially the 2 pound boots that soon weigh 20....but the least the Iranians could have done is issue DPM shorts instead of Underoos.

I've thought about that too. Either the wars have been one sided slaughters or they have been some kind guerilla fighting.

Are there any good places on the net for this conflict? Yeah I know I could google it, but have you found any good ones that you'd like recommend?
