yeah, especially that "in the event of total failure, a 24volts battery will power the unit's vital electrical system". How very generous the goverment is, can we have TWO batteries instead of one?

That would be silly. At any rate, if you lose both generators, you're screwed, and all the batteries in the world aren't going to help you.

I know, took redundancy design courses myself. I just want to poke fun at the "In case of extreme failure" and how casualy the instructor said it. Wish the apache could be fitted with ejection seat like the kamov. All that titanium armor won't matter when you take a nose dive.
