What " insight" there is to get? Its a fact that they had none, and had destroyed any that they had with UNSCOM way back when............

Youre a moron uninen. The UN tagged several tons of stockpiles in 98 before they left. Why would Iraq destroy them in secret? If youre so sure Iraq has no weapons prove it

should be the opposite way. the bush government claimed that the wmd of iraq would be a threat to the 'free world' and it's on their side to prove this claim
so ............ the usa have the most powerfull observation system on this planet (NSA, CIA, sattelits, etc.), moreover the US forces are in iraq now for over a year and they still can't give any proof that iraq had any serious wmd.
even the US's foreign minister powell confessed that most of the stuff he reported in his famous speech in the un security council (about mobile labs, etc) turned out to be totally not provable

Sorry, thanks for playing!
In his testimony before Congress last year, weapons inspector Kay said U.S. satellite surveillance showed substantial vehicular traffic going from Iraq to Syria just prior to the U.S. attack on March 19, 2003.
Israeli intelligence has long believed that after the U.S. delayed invasion plans to allow U.N. weapons inspectors time to search for Iraq's WMDs, Saddam moved the banned weapons to Syria, the only other country ruled by the Ba'ath Party.

This is "proof"? This is what makes "everyone know that"? You cannot be serious..... thank God there are Americans who post rational, logical, intelligent stuff, otherwise I'd be really worried.

It may not be proof trident but other experts say it COULD have happened. We cant truly rule it out.which sucks really. It is speculation but almost everything we read in these forums is speculation.

I agree Talos - there could be WMD in Syria, and a whole bunch of other places. However, I do not think his quotes are sufficient evidence for everyone to know they are in Syria. There is a difference between fact, and theory, and conjecture etc.

David kay said it was "highly likely" that unaccounted for weapons were in Syria. PS. The UN also said Iraq had weapons as did everyone else. Dont blame this on the Bush administration for that reason. if u were against the war fine but to say bush lied is to say that john kerry lied, clinton lied, chirac lied, kennedy lied, schroeder lied, and de villapin lied.

Does anyone honestly believe men like Saddam willingly give up their WMD programs and stockpiles ?
Hes did everything to make life hard for the UN inspectors, but being the UN they didnt take any action.
