This was a joke, orchestrated by the Armor unit you see doing it. It was set up and they paid for the old car they ran over. Do you think a commander would let his troops shoot a car to pieces in the wide open and then risk throwing a track on a piece of armor without his permission? In anyway, the good journalists cries about the livelihood of the cab driver, but doesn`t ask one question, what was the share of the cabbie when he decided to lend his vehicle too robbers?
I mean, if your are caught helping a crime in the states or europe, your vehicle is simply impounded, and generally sold, there, they just opted for a more "grphic" punishement.
