Very cool man. You really should make an effort to get those all scanned, in case that albu, ever gets lost or damaged.

Really impressing I must say. All photos, even the private ones are valuable sources for history.
You must be proud that your dad fought in the "6 day War".
Hope you sucseed to get the other pictures scanned. :D

Thanks for sharing those photos. I cannot wait for thw "sneak-peak". :)
Hmm, not to try to be your mother or anything but out of respect for your father and HIS photo album and HIS memories, shouldnt you not be ****ing with his **** all sneaky sneaky??? My dad never fought in Vietnam. He was drafted but not accpeted due to broken ankle with a pin in it that never healed (an old lacrosse injury from his days at Ohio State where he was the leading scorer in the nation heheh and some of his records still hold to this day too hehehhehe). I do know this, my math teacher brought in a photo album of his Vietnam days when he was a Green Beret....He left them for me to look at while he was at meeting. I was SORELY tempted to scan them while he was gone so I could actually post some uniwue pics on this forum which is something I have yet to do but I decided not to out of respect for him.....
I wanna see those picks as much as anyone but I suggest you ask your father and not sneak anything he told you not to for public display and consumption.....Im sure some of those pics are very personal and painful for him and he doesnt want people like me gawking at them........Just a suggestion.. You will do what you will do of course...Good luck with your elite "persuasion"..

If your dad has some pics showing both defenders and attackers in the same scene, you've definitely got a real goldmine, as such pics are quite uncommon indeed.
Can only remember to have seen 2-3 such pics. One of those showing a French light machine gun team in Indochina in the process of moving position to rearwards, with a Vieth Minh skirmish line running towards them about 100 - 150 yards off. Others some quite famous pics showing French attacking and Germans defending trench system during WW-1.

If its a plain rifle, then its probably a Czech manufactured Mauser 98. Referred to in Israel as a: Czechi. There's a chance it could be an FN HB-308 without a magazine. Too blurry to really see.
