First off I directed this at pro-Israelis since I don't want pro-Palestinians to turn this into a flame war. I'm curious if people agree with me on what I think about Sharon.

First I know Sharon has badly damaged Hamas but doesn't allow targetted strikes to be carried out when he should. It seems like the only time he allows them is after the Palestinian terrorists successfully carry out an attack such as the one at the Erez crossing a few days ago. Since these strikes have proven themselves to be so effective and destroying the terrorists I don't see why Sharon doesn't allow more of them to be carried out. Israel knows where a lot of these terrorists are and could kill a lot of them in one day if Sharon allowed it but instead he only uses it to retaliate for Palestinian attacks. Probably Sharon isn't allowing more of this strikes to be carried out because of public opinion but much of the world doesn't support Israel anyway. Israel needs to worry about its own safety before public opinion. A lot of nations aern't going to support Israel no matter what it do so they might as well not worry so much about it.

The Palestinian terrorists are trying every day to kill more innocent Israelis yet Sharon doesn't allow more targetted strikes. A conservative estimate said if all the Palestinian terrorists attacks were successfully carried out then their would be 90,000 Israelis killed rather than about 900. More than 14,000 Palestinian attacks have been twarted. The Palestinians attacked the Ashdod port which could of resulted in the death of hundreds if the chemical containers had been destroyed. Also Hundreds more civilians could of been killed if the Shalom Towers was successfully bombed yet Sharon uses the targetted killigns sparingly.

More things need to be done with the bulldozing of Palestinian houses. The Saudis give the famalies enough money anyway that if they lose their house it isn't a big deal. They can just buy a new house. Like they could bull doze the suicide bomber's and a few near by it. If bombings and attacks continue bull doze more houses. This needs to be done so that way the neighbors of possible suicide bombers will make sure that no suicide bombings will occur because they won't want to lose their house. The Saudis won't be able to pay for the houses' of a group of famalies.

Also the wall needs to be completed and Sharon can't back down on it. Bush doesn't completely agree on the wall despite the fact that the US is fighting a war of terrorism of its own and it has a much more heavily guarded wall along the American-Mexican border.

Also Sharon needs to stop the pull out out of Gaza. It rewards the terrorists and makes Israel more vunerable to mortars and rockets. Ariel Sharon said that pulling out of Gaza will get rid of some of the friction between Israel and the Palestinians but the past peace negotiations have proved this wrong. The Israelis continue offering more and more land to the PA but instead of stopping the attacks or at the very least reducing them they support and allow even more terrorists attacks to continue. Also Gaza would probably stock up on more weapons smuggled in from Egypt and other countries and would become more and more of a threat to Israel.

Respond and tell me your opinion on Sharon

Unfortunatly public opinion messes with leaders. Same as here in the United States. Im sure a lot more could get done if leaders didn't always listen to public opinion on certain issues, but public opinion is also a good thing.

I think I agree with the destruction of the houses of nieghbors if thier neighbors are terrorists who will commit a suicide bombing, or another terrorist act. I think buldozing a neighbors house, or a few would set an example for the rest fo the Palestinians.

Im not to sure about Sharon, because i dont know much about him. I think its an improvement that he has had the last two leaders of Hamas assasinated. maybe eventualy the terrorists will loose skilled leaders and become unorganized after possibly more assasinations, making it not as hard for Israel to defeat the terrorists. Just my thoughts, i dont know a whole bunch on this conflict.

I'm NOT (as in no way) anti-Israel. But I think that dinosaurs like Sharon and Arafat will all have to go.

This just in:

Arafat and Sharon met their Creator. Arafat asked: O all-knowing and all-powerful one, will that infidel pig Sharon fry in Hell for his sins? The Man replied: Not in your time, my son. Sharon inquired: Will that filthy son of a camel flea Arafat get toasted in Gehenna for his crimes? To which the Lord replied: Not in your time, my son. Bewildered, the two leaders asked: Will there ever be peace in Israel?

Quoth the Almighty: Not in my time, my sons.
