In Iraq, still working out which end is dangerous by the looks of things.

:P omfg nice blokkage clearance drill
 Check out the look of the guy standing above him when he fires the round into the ground.

What the **** was that? These guys are suppose to be trained soldiers.
Remove the mag, **** back the action, engage the safety catch if needed to manually remove a casing. Insert mag, click safety catch and strike the forward assist.
Not that hard people.
Secondly, the weapon has obviously not been cleaned and none of them even tried to use the forward assist. These are serious **** up when you're in any theatre of war.

Wow, are you kidding me ? Lack of training, just plain stupid and ignorant on the functions of the M-16, or what. My God, take that rifle away from that kid, sit him behind a desk.
REMF's, period.

I would not expect that kind of carelessness from anyone who has been through BCT, hell I wouldn't even expect it from a fellow cadet, there's no excuse for that.

Why wasn't he shat on by the RCO or equivalent? He ND'd on the range with shoddy weapon handling and what happened? Someone laughed. An ND like that results in fines and a gripping that would make your arse pucker for weeks in this Army. I hope this isn't indicative of US range handling.

I've never fired an assault rifle but I know NOT to shoot the damn thing on the ground in front of you.

What worries me more than any of his weapons handling is that that doesnt look like a supervised range session, (as there is a camera on the firing point)
Hes passed out of training, been signed onto a tour, gotten himself out to Iraq and been issued a weapon and his next contact could be his last, because hes a complete retard!

He didn't do it on purpose, it was an accident due to his ridiculous stoppage drills.

Why do people post vids of themselves doing things like this? I'm embarassed and I don't even know them. "Hi, mom & dad this is a video of us out on the range. As you can see I have forgotten how to load, clear and reduce a stoppage on my issued M16. But we have soft serve ice cream, so its all good."

If that kid gets shot and dies, it is someones fault! what is he doing in a warzone in a unifrom when he cant handles his IW?
Slack drills make easy kills.
