Main focus is on the hospital, where Chechens baricaded themselves. Plenty of Motorized Infantry, Spetsnaz GRU ....

Hope this doesnt sound like a silly question, but would this DVD play in a Western Hempisphere(US) DVD player, ive heard europe uses a different format and they are not compatiable.

NTSC is American. We underdeveloped European countries just use PAL. :D

Brigada is one of my vaforites actually.

Its a bout 4 guys growing up in Moscow. They start out in 1989, and progress through 2000's as one of the most succsesful organized crime families.

VERY WELL DONE! Acting, Filming, effects, make up, costumes, storry A+

Some Chechnya stuff in there too. Lots of AKs.

chistillishe was one of the worst movies ive ever seen, it really sucked,
but the enviroment around the area, streets buildings and so on where really good.

Voina on the other hand was a real good movie, better than many hollywood movies ive seen with budgets way bigger. I dont understand russian so i didnt get the whole movie,
what happend at the end, the place they interwiu the russian guy looks like a prison.

Same here. I got off it from eMule and couldn't understand their conversations, but the acting took care of that.

Lt. Col., Aleksei Efentiev, a.k.a. "Gyurza". ;)

Whenever "Voron" (his squad's radio designation) was heard, Chechen communications would go completely silent!

He fought in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, Karabah, and Yugoslavia. Has almost 20 years of experience.
He's now retired. Owns a large farm in Voronezh, and became very successful. Apart from that, he also became an active member of the Russian Agrarian Party. He's now a public figure, but does lots of things for the Veterans.
