The French Crotale system, is currently the most advanced AA-missile system that the FDF holds

The Crotale is also known as the "ItO90" in Finland, which can be translated as the "AA-missile 90" or Ilmantorjuntaohjus 90

It needs to be camouflaged as well...

Correction: on firing range, see the black/yellow "safety poles" in front of the 23 itK 61 (ZU-23-2..) mounted on a truck...

LoL,

I just got my new issue of Suomen Sotilas (magazine) as it happens their testing the Crotale NG in this one.... and are telling some dirty little details of this joint Finn-French-US system......

Most "funny" of them being that the god damn system wasnt operational for years even after issue... as it happens the guidance unit(s) of VT-1 missile(s) actually broke (didnt funtion) in every launch because "too fast" launch acceleration of the missile.....

And what is even funnier is that the French were quick to blame the problems to the American missile (they didnt know at the time that was the problem in the missile or in fire control unit(s)......) and like i said the problem turned out to be in the missile(s) but............ the missiles guidance units that couldnt stand the stress happened to be French made..... rofl
