I'm attempting to express this to you as politely as possible. I've been visiting this forum for a number of months. It's come to my realization that except for a couple of inconsiderate posters who have since been banned, you appear to be the least liked member.

Why do you bother to post threads that evoke such hostility, especially from the Americans? You now even have Farmgirl criticizing your contributions.

In the event that you haven't recently noticed, there's enough crap & hostility in this world. Do you really think it necessary to instigate and perpetuate additional ill sentiments on this forum?

Given that you claim to be a Canadian infanteer, I would have expected more diplomacy from a member of the Canadian Forces. Take a word of advice from an old soldier:

I have respect for Ducimus as a soldier for what he did this summer, they helped alot of people, but I dont like the US bashing thing, I fully support the soldiers in Iraq and I support their reason for being there. I post threads I find interesting or topics which I enjoy. I post topics to du-bunk others arguments, and I challenge others in debate. Many forum users are fully capable of doing this in a civilized manner, though some clearly are not. I urge this forum to take a breather and not take these posts of criticism as personal attacks; these are merely objective stances and counterbalances from the left. I am not here to apologize, I am here to urge this forum to mellow out and listen to some constructive criticism. I have. As long as users adhere to this simple rule, I am all ears:

You know what, I have had it. This forum has seriously gotten to me. I am done posting in here until the time I see some significant change or turn around in the user base. I appreciate you taking the time to check it out. I obviously don't agree with your assesment.. but that is what I dig about you. Seeing a different perspective is a great way to open up you mind. I think you touched on some very important areas but again have a focus that is off. Everything is relative so what is to say that my focus isn't off.

One thing I hope you give me credit for.. I do have a pretty wide perspective as well as some more specific resources than most. I have the benefit of several sources of info and research other than the media, some experience in many matters outside the US, and a pretty good read on the pulse of many cultures other than my own. I have been really blessed with my contact with people.

I think even with your biased view you're definately getting some perspective. Well, your getting more polite.. but your views are starting to make a little sense. I often question my thinking when I read your posts. You used to spin your wheels a lot with "facts" but your looking at things a little bit further back now. Get some experience with people, question your own opinion, and never be satisfied with your knowledge, and you'll pose quite a formidable debate. Good to hear from you boss.

I completely agree Flagg, not alot of his threads he started were against the States, the threads he started on "Fat America" etc.. I have seen on American news stations , and they are all very interesting to read. But some posts really went Off topic and he got 'outrageuos' in his posts. Hopefully he will come back (with an apology to FG) and continue to post about things that are interesting and people wont flame him, and he wont react how he did today.

3] Ducimus took alot of ****, and he didnt deserve a majority of it. he made others mad on this forum (i only got mad about the FG thing) and im not completly sure why it lead to such harsh insults. Normally I try and avoid replying in a thread aimed at Ducimus, but i did in this one because he has seem to have gone over the line in his last few posts. I still respect him as a soldier (if your curious wh PM me) but sometimes that view changes, and i have never stooped to the low of calling him 'Douchbagmus19' '****less19' etc.. ive just expressed my opinion to him.

Let’s straighten a few things up

If any individual wants to share their opinion related to a current political conflict, idea, theory or theme, they are entitled to do so. I do the same. Under no circumstances do I have the audacity to come out and say ‘f*** usa’, they suck, good for nothing, etc. Many users however use this tone with me, or in regards to socialism or a standing I am affiliated with. Evidently I differ in view as a forum user, deal with it. The forum turns a blind eye and allows any attack in my direction or the ‘left’ to go on. Particular because it does not affect them or their own set ideal. I do not directly attack the USA, or its people. I do however post opinion, articles, and documents which many not see appealing to a ‘rightist’ view point in accordance with their political standings. It is taken as a challenge, and quite obviously, a personal attack. I have endured so much insult on this forum, it’s amazing. This reoccurring verbal abuse hardly bothers me and I have come to deal with it, yet recently it gets so overwhelming its infuriating. I do not post with the intention to incite hate. I post threads I find interesting or topics which I enjoy. I post topics to du-bunk others arguments, and I challenge others in debate. Many forum users are fully capable of doing this in a civilized manner, though some clearly are not. I urge this forum to take a breather and not take these posts of criticism as personal attacks; these are merely objective stances and counterbalances from the left. I am not here to apologize, I am here to urge this forum to mellow out and listen to some constructive criticism. I have. As long as users adhere to this simple rule, I am all ears:

1. Be civil to your fellow forum user. They'll respect you if you respect them.


Respect your fellow forum users and many should benefit from the variety of ideals, thoughts, political origins, and nationalities.

Do not operate under the dilusion that we do not like you because of your political views. I disagree with James Carville on nearly every issue but I respect and like him because he is genuine and forthright in the expression of his views. He looks right into the eyes of his opponents and disagrees. You, however, make snide comments about topics unrelated to the people you disagree with, and when they question you, you leave for a few days. There is a name for that behavior which I will not repeat. I would love to debate issues with you, but its pointless.

I think the perfiect embodiment of the behavior I describe is your comment to Maine Finn. That is what I don't like.

You know what, I have had it. This forum has seriously gotten to me. I am done posting in here until the time I see some significant change or turn around in the user base. No one seems to give two ****s what I have to say, so I am going to leave you with some comments I received not too long ago.
