I lived in the Bay Area when this happened. For me it was awesome! For Bay Area Libs...not so much! Haven't seen that camo since.
Great pics!

Yeah, I thought it was cool looking pattern and function but I don't think it was practical. The new MOUT pattern still looks cool too though...
Anyone with pic's??? :)

I was tagged to be a VIP escort for Urbane Warrior! it was pretty funny - mainly a lot of dog and pony shows and dealing with all the protestors. In Monterey they distributed flyers with a pic of a guy in camis jumping a girl with her groceries! Strangely enough old Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown actually supported the exercise since we brought some money into Oaktown which is a complete hole. Also do a google search on urban warrior - there was a couple of guys from a Wacko, Texas radio station all into conspiracy theories and how we were training to take over the U.S. Made a big deal out of the Brit and Dutch Marines that were participating.
I went to school at Berkeley so it was cool to come back to the Bay Area...they protested too when we did TRUE training for MEU work-ups. Claiming the USMC was picking on Frisco because of it's asian population and liberal beliefs...funny how all the Bay Area bases got BRAC'd - payback is a biyatch!

I'll be honest though... that "T" pattern urban camo is just sexy.
