If the world needs dissenting opinion then it needs people like Xasa, Warpig, Tane Angle, Flagg, Cut, and Royal. These (and some others) have consistently presented well thought out arguments and differing viewpoints.

They do this without having to resort to shock value and talking down to people while trying to use $5 words with a buck fifty vocabulary. (ducimus)

I think I have had disagreements with most of them, but I respect their viewpoints (mostly) b/c they respect mine (mostly). p-)

If Ducimus had been able to balance his vitriol(I love the dictionary) and back a number of his statements up with fact he might have got a better reception from most. But most of his posts were calculated to offend, ie the GWB portrait made out of the photos of dead soldiers or bait others into a flame war, ie the 'fat Americans' threads.

Anything and everything he received he earned.

Well I was never really on his side, I was just against flaming him 24/7 just because he had a different opinion. However, you are right, that even I have been taking somewhat of a disliking to him as of late. Ever since he got back after a short period of 'inactivity' he's been acting like an asshole.
