View Full Version : Great Looking Military Equipment

Now I expect most of us are here because, well we find all the topics and photos (Etc.) 'cool'. Now I know I wouldn't be here if back in the '90s I didn't find all the lovely pictures and footage in my Dad's collection of military related publications, 'cool'...
So what pieces of military equipment do you find interesting and attractive aesthetics wise?
Here's my list (There's no doubt more to add.):

'93 is too old, at that age you are bound to do some major investment in order to keep it running. Also you are looking at about $20.000 market value(if it is in mint condition) which is probably close to the value of the fully restored Willys.
Actually I don't have a Jeep but if the trade-off was worthy I'd find one, sorry...

Spopnman, I agree on the AMD-65, but the one in your pic appears to be a Chinese or similar clone with an AMD lower handguard and a standard gas tube with the upper handguard fittings still in place. Still, a very nice Kalashnikov indeed, but I couldn't help share my AMD-65 pics too...

No, its actually more ergonomic and comfy. Hold a pencil in your fist with your thumb upward and place it in front of your chin with you elbow at a 45 degree bend or so. the pencil naturally tilts back toward you. Its works.
I do think it is that way more for economy or parts though, since the two grips are identical and interchangeable.
