Soldiers see an African American for the first time in their lives. They are rubbing him to see if he is real.

All: social-cultural, military, political, historical , lets see into what this dispute will evolve...

I'm curious because It seemed that we were doing quite well for long time and things fubared..Maybe because of russian annexation or maybe growing natzionalism after first world war..., but first try to say what people think in general about it...In Poland we recal those times very well..

hmm... from my point of wiew I have nothing against you guysnor any of our folks (not the government...mafija) , although ive herd that there was some economic diferences betwean us, I seems as though you think that everyone is against you( for the lack of beter word) but in reality for example people in my country have no problem with you guys, as far as i know you are welcome,

Now government on the other side is diferent story, firstly our president most of you think he is a bandit (for the lack of beter word) for my he was good president he did good in my country, and thats why he lost he thrown because (brazauskas) one of our earlier president is supsosedly one that is deep in mafija.... organized crime, he sew what was hapening and desided to change things resulting in inoguration of standing president, and now arturas paulauskas took over...

well this is just example that our little country has a lot powerfull individuals, therefore I come back to my earlyer point realations with Poland, everything was fine till someone dident like thet idea of partnership or desided to make some money and found the way to ruin the realarions by doing so.

this is just now in few years but what did you mean about world war one to present, i might have mised something if you could give some detail to continue descusion...

We are interested in this matter with hermanek since polish lithuanian union lasted for over 400 years and was probably the longest lasting union in history betwen two independent countries without comon language... and it was quite democratic relation with parliament sesions i.e. 2 times in a row in Crown (Poland nickname) and then 1 time in Grand Duchy (Lithuania) (lithuania population was at the time 2 times smaller despite size was bigger) Also kings who were from Lithuanian Family were at the begining kings on poland and lithuania and after Lublin treaty kings of "Comonwelth of 2 nations"

1386-1569 - Dynastic Connection with Poland

King Louis of Poland and Hungary had died in 1382, leaving behind two daughters. The Polish nobility had the younger daughter, Jadwiga - at that time merely 10 years old - divorced from Wilhelm von Habsburg; they offered her in marriage to Duke JOGAILA (widely known under the Polish spelling of his name, JAGIELLO) of Lithuania, if the hitherto pagan Lithuanians would convert to Catholicism and if Lithuania would cede PODOLIA to Poland. Jagiello fulfilled both conditions; the marriage was held in 1386, beginning the Jagiellonian Dynasty in Poland. Jagiello ruled in Poland until 1434; Lithuania in 1392-1430 was ruled by Duke VYTAUTAS THE GREAT .
In 1388 the DIOCESIS OF VILNIUS was founded; another diocesis was established in SAMOGITIA in 1417.

The Grand Duchy, although closely allied with Poland, remained a separate political entity. The Grand Duchy included Lithuanian (now Catholic) heartland in the north, and large stretches of areas inhabited by RUTHENIANS (Belorussians, Ukrainians) of Orthodox confession. At the SYNOD OF NOVOHRODEK (1415) the Orthodox church of the Grand Duchy declared itself independent. Head of the Grand Duchy's Orthodox church was the METROPOLITAN OF KIEV, residing in Novohrodek.
The Lithuanian nobles elected their dukes. Although Poland and Lithuania often were ruled in PERSONAL UNION (i.e. the King of Poland also was Grand Duke of Lithuania), Lithuania kept separate political institutions - an administration, assembly, army.
In 1569 Lithuania and Poland signed the UNION OF LUBLIN, merging both states (a union Lithuania's higher nobility objected to; the lower nobility was interested in taking up the Polish offer, and the King-Duke pressed for it). From 1569 onward there was only one king-duke in the country, Poland and Lithuania had a common diet, a common currency. Lithuania, though, retained a separate administration and army

Last sentence :-) Looks like a primitive EU
