I'm well versed in Gen Kitson's works (I'd also recomend (again) 'Bunch of Fives' for those that are interested in this field). A copy of Roger Trinquier’s 'A French View of Counterinsurgency' will be winging it's way to me as soon as I find it on Amazon...

Should be required reading for anyone in this line of work.
