You're right, that is a dumb question.

1) it's free to download, so it is impossible to 'pirate' it.
2) if we have a copy to give to you, how would we send it? over the internet? it would probably be slower than if you downloaded from the americasarmy.com...

I'm just trying to avoid some common problems... I already took care of version problems and time zone differences.

The biggest problem would be if we take over a server and some people leave but they can't get back in because other people (not from MP.net) will join the almost full server. let's hope that doesn't happen.

The people who are 15 honor and SF qualified will want to play as SF. :) indigenous forces are as much fun or more fun with the RPG, RPK, AK74, etc.

I don't have fixed work hours - I mostly write my part at night anyway - so there's no problem with getting up early since I don't intend to sleep ;) I just need to get other PC than my laptop to play AAO - If I manage to do so - count me in p-)

EDIT: And as for M4 "Gucci" - depends on role in team - for CQB: Aimpoint+surpressor/M203(as a option) for DMR/open grounds ACOG+Harris bipod I'd Love to see some M14 and M240/PKM in game too or just some Elcan sight for m249.

It's not funny. Its making me pretty sick. The netcode is really the biggest piece of **** after BF1942. Seriously, about 1 out of 10 bullets actually reaches the server. (And no, it's not my aim, since that seems to be pretty ****ing good in other games) Besides, lots of the maps are inbalanced pieces of ****, and the inaccuracy of some of the guns (ie. not hitting what you aim at at 50 meters) is just blood-boiling.

Haiw - Its not OFP you know... OFP would probably keep the kids away from any army... Remember "If You see the flash its allready too late" - no ineffective spraying with SAW, no jumping under fire, no "Hooah"...

I agree with b_t_k, SF maps may look preety but they're shiat on tactical level anyways. It simply becomes just arcade not a miltary sim when ypu play them. Im for something bigger and more demanding - FRTC Farm/82nd Airborne for example, Radio Tower or Mountain Pass. I don't care about fancy M4 toys actually.
