MANAS AIR BASE, Kyrgyzstan -- Col. Michael Sumida stands in front of a C-130 Hercules on the flightline here. The colonel was a C-130 navigator on the attempted mission to rescue hostages during the Iranian hostage crisis in 1980. April 24 and 25 mark the 24th anniversary of the attempt. He is the 376th Air Expeditionary Wing vice commander.

haney? Maybe, apparently nobody in the delta community seems to want to have anything to do with him. Well, the Unit's just a really bad show, too much drama, and not enough shooting, and doing the basics of what the unit should be doing.
Anyhow, nice pics.

I'm suprised they declasified these pictures, considering these people are still alive and might not want thier identities so freeley distributed. Granted it was a long time ago, but I recognized my old boss immediatly and he was shocked when I emailed him the pic.
