In a war zone, jtf 2 operators because they know the area a lot better. In a diplomatic environment where it's safe, and not in a war zone, then it's up to the rcmp.

It depends.... They now have a special close protection unit made up of MP's. But with High profile VIP's they will still use the JTF for now...

I don't know why, but jtf2 guys, man we love them, yet we never know who they are. All I know is, to be in the team, u got to do 6 days of non stop pushups, situps, running, pullups, then if u pass that, u head off for 6 months of non stop training.

JTF2 snipers were used in Bosnia (i think) to provide security for Jean Chretien during his visit there. They were observing bosnian soldiers shooting on a range nearby. might be wrong tho

I worked out with a member of the JTF-2 @ the rcmp depot in regina. For the 5 months we worked out, i picked that guys brain. hes got some stories and sweet pics. those guys are fascinating.
