I too believe that people should be allowed to state their opinions. That said... there is a difference between rationally presenting and even debating an opinion and intentionally provoking people. When certain members of the forum make outlandish claims and state them as facts... nothing positive can result. If everyone would just try to make their points in a civil manner and state opinions as opinions and facts as facts (assuming they can back them up) the board would be a much more productive place.

I think most of us could care less what his or other's political leanings are; quite the contrary, it adds to the debate. The problem with Helex and a few others is that he pollutes threads with postings that are meant to provoke. Yes, he can be ignored, but it's really difficult to ignore someone who is posting crap dozens of times a day. Obviously, the mods are giving him enough rope to hang himself, and at the rate he's going, it should be soon.
