The media seems to be having a hard time letting her alone. It's sad, really.

The American media has no right to do that sort of stuff. She wasnt their princess. They dont even air that stuff in the UK. **** CBS. Their only causing heartache and distress for the families.

It saddens me that the media is unable to leave her memory alone. Every time I turn around, someone's written a book about it or someone's claiming a conspiracy.

Why can't people just leave well enough alone? :|

People on here don't like seeing dead US soldiers, it's the same, except worse because she was well known. I mean that we knew her character and what she was like, not in a sense that celebrities are any more import that regular people.

The americans have no reason to get so involved with the royal family. Its just a morbid fascination of the medias.

That's a deplorable viewpoint. It is bad and the whacko liberal media outlets shouldn't be doing this. But it is JUST AS BAD as showing the images of soldiers' coffins. Just because she was a Princess means jackshi* now. A dead person, whether "famous" or not, deserves the dignity and respect of all persons. I hope HELEX, musta-mophead, and Navy read this.

Absolutely Deuce... it really doesn't make a difference who she was.... She should be allowed dignity in death.
I feel for her children. It's difficult enough to lose a parent. I can't imagine being bombarded with images, rumors and speculation for years afterwards.

did you not read the rest of what I wrote? I said it is as bad, the fact that she used to be next in line to be our queen does matter, and we all felt like we knew her, she was not a regular celebrity like in the states. The fact is you remember the people you knew, and you mourn for the soldiers you know and soldiers in general, a squaddie that get's killed in Iraq is important but if you don't know the guy it's not the same.

I hope you learn to read full posts rather than jumping to conclusions NcDouche

I hope you learn to omit your insensate thoughts on how one life is more important than another.
except worse because she was well known

If I may, I think most American people would rather let her be. Our media for whatever reasons keeps broadcasting this stuff. Why? I guess they can't live without some kind of conspiracy to ponder...

...continue squabbling. :P

Well no offense, but by most people 'celebrities' are considered more important. Just look at the general forum; Pat Tilman got 4 topics...did every US KIA get that?
