From Wikipedia:
"The classic Russian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia) vodka is 40% (80 proof (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoholic_proof)). This can be attributed to the Russian standards for vodka production introduced in 1894 by Alexander III (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_III_of_Russia) from research undertaken by the Russian chemist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemist) Dmitri Mendeleev (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitri_Mendeleev). According to the Vodka Museum in Moscow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow), Mendeleev found the perfect percentage to be 38, but since spirits in his time were taxed on their strength, the percentage was rounded up to 40 to simplify the tax computation. At strengths less than this vodka drunk neat (not mixed with other liquids) can taste 'watery' and above this strength the taste of vodka can have more 'burn'. Some governments set a minimum alcohol content for a spirit to be called "vodka"; for example, the European Union sets a minimum of 37.5% alcohol by volume. [1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vodka#_note-0)"

Looking good, a nice try to unite the past of Russia with the present in the interior design. Too much gold for my taste, though.

Check out the color of the chairs. It's definitly Russian. BTW whoever decided that color was "soothing" must have been color blind.

1) It was designed by the British
2) Presidential planes are never soothing, look at the AF-1 it's got the same amount of gold and elite chairs

LOL the glasses are upsidedown, guess the drunken pilot decided to pull some negative Gs durring the photo shoot.

ummmm, you do actually know what you are talking about?
during testing it was determined that green was the most relaxing background color against which the instruments could be most easily seen on long distance flights..also supposedly the color was not easy to focus on so the pilot could concentrate easier on the actual flight instrumination.

Whats up with all the gold, especially in the bathroom? State plane should have more official interior, this looks like some arabian sheikh's private plane.
