French and American Forces have always trained together since several year, freedom fries or not freedom fries.

Perhaps, but if you view the blogs on the US military branches, with American military personel, you'll find plenty of French-bashing. I find the USMC related sites to be the worst in anti-French sentiment, I'm ashamed to say.:-(

I spent 7 months in Djibouti as a part of a USMC security company. We never had a problem with the Frenchies. They even allowed us to send a bunch of guys to the French Desert Survival Course. Minus the short shorts, and the legionaires falling asleep on post, the French were pretty cool dudes.

Obviously not, i would ask if he has ever talked to a french person before. I would also say, no. Such posts come from people who never met anybody besides their own.
