They're your only bed in Boy Summer Camps too. I don't see what's so special. Cots are cots

Yep MLI, and we call them "kanadyjki" (cannadian's). I like using them actually - although they're obiviously not designed to withstand any ****** activity performed on them ;)

Not at all. But the first thing i saw is that when you are really exhausted, you could sleep on rocks and have the deepest sleep you've ever had withing giving a f*** about the ground !

The canvas is fun to draw and write on however.
Best ones I saw.

I think they are next to sleeping in the almighty Lord's lap the most comforting thing to sleep in while out in the field.
A guy in my platoon actually slept in that cot for six months while down in Kosovo. He loved it so much that he actually throwed out his ordinary bed and used that instead.

i've never used these cots, but last summer i couldn't sleep in my bed for some reason, so i set up a cot from the korean war that my friend gave me, and slept in it for like a week straight. it was pretty comfortable.
