Some nice news...

A Waterloo, Illinois man is back from Iraq and Friday he met his pen pals.
Air National Guard Captain Patrick Ober has been corresponding with the kindergarten class at St. Peter and Paul Elementary School since last spring.
Ober showed up Friday afternoon to a hero's welcome.
Captain Ober has just finished his second tour of duty in Iraq. So of course, Ober's son Kurt, 5, and his kindergarten classmates had lots of questions for him and a few songs.
They sang "God Bless America" while waving American flags.
Laura Metzger's class had been waiting for Ober's visit all week. They were anxious to see his photographs from Baghdad and other exotic places and they wanted to hear about his experiences.
But the most exciting moment was probably when Ober unloaded his bulging knapsack and let the kids and their teacher experience some tools of the trade: a survival vest and a helmet with night goggles.
When the lights came up, Ober was presented with a cake and other gifts. It was the kids' way of thanking Ober for service to his country.
For the last seven years, Ober had been a pilot with American Airlines. He was about to be furloughed when he got the call.
Ober says he really enjoys getting e-mail from his son and his classmates.
Ober expects to be back in Iraq sometime in August.
