To anyone who wants to come counter the protest this weekend we will be meeting Sunday at 10AM at 15th and Penn AVE. Go to hq.protestwarrior.com for more details. Bring signs. CNN wants to do an exclusive on the counter protesters so you will probably be on TV.

Freedom of speech works both ways, it is just sad the lefty bastards get on the news more than anyone else.
It seems the leftys always go protesting, and getting way too much media coverage! Go counter the protest, make us proud..

Be sure to tell them that it is we who always get what we want (that will piss those lefties off).

Enjoy your hippy bashing lads.
Don't like Bush, but america as a whole is pretty cool.
Isn't that a little bit...childish?
"Oh look they're going protesting!"
"Well Bubba...then why don't we go and counter-protest...just so we can piss them off"
"Suuuure, as long as you bring the beer"

Its not to piss them off haiw, its to show there is another opinion rather than only the one the left wants everyone to see. If no one speaks up and counters a particular opinion they disagree with people will assume that everyone in the uS is against the action in Iraq and thats just plain not true.
You guys who scream freedom of speech just kill me, you seem to think that it only applies to anti bush antiwar people who you agree with but not any dissenting voices. :cantbeli:
I'm not screaming about freedom of speech or anything, and I'm not saying they shouldn't be allowed to counter-protest, I just think it's somewhat childish. Come up with your own protest instead of some stupid counter-protest lol.
Oh and to clarify...counter-protesting by lefties is lame as well. The only thing that warrants counter-protesting is some rascist pro-nazi march/protest and that kind of stuff.

Just a Reminder, but the Title of this Topic is as wrong as it can be.
There is nothing anti-american in Protesting against the War in Iraq or the Bush Administration. Its the exactly opposite, its patriotic.

I guess I'm the same, then. I don't necessarily like GWB for a lot of things, and I've yet to decide if I'm even going to vote this election, but that doesn't mean I don't think he's doing a good job overall. I support OIF completely.
But, I think I'm still just
a pity victim of Media Manipulation with no own Opinion.
Funny how that works out, huh?

Yes.
Here is some info about it:
"SUNDAY, APRIL 25: MARCH FOR WOMEN'S LIVES IN WASHINGTON,
D.C. Assemble 10 a.m. on the National Mall. March at noon."
Probably some anti-war groups will be at it and take part.
"Anti-American" as in this thread title? I don't think so.
Anti-violence against women? Of course! Anti-war definitely and anti-Bush just as likely. M1A2U2? Don't try to rally support with your jingoism here please.
cheers

If you anything about the gorup ANSWER, which u dont i guess, you would know that it is anti american.
DLodge

The seven groups organizing the march are:
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
Black Women's Health Imperative
Feminist Majority
NARAL Pro-Choice America
The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH)
The National Organization for Women (NOW)
Planned Parenthood Federation of America
ANSWER (Act Now to Stop the War and End Racism!) will only represent a small contingent of the thousands of people marching tomorrow. Notwithstanding the fact that I disagree with the assertion that ANSWER is "anti-American", I don't see how you can apply that label to an entire protest which is primarily about women's rights, and of which ANSWER is only playing a small part.
