Take a look at the fine documentary on youtube from the raid in Mogadishu, 93 or read Mark Bowdens book Black Hawk, then you'll see why it's so goddam stupid to just give a damn about the civilian population.

I'm pretty sure that was a AC-130 gunship engaging them, which is probably the most accurate fire support from an aerial platform available to anyone right now. Reguarly used in urban enviroments with little to no collateral damage.

This was my very first time starting a thread. I agree with MacGyver, Boy do I regret it now. AC-130? Did you watch the video? You can see the helicopter firing the weapons IN THE VID .....ahem....sorry. How do you kill a thread? I think I will go back to being a tourist instead of a participant.
