Not sure if anybody has seen this before, but I stumbled across these pics of a new(?) M90 pattern, called M90V, or M90 'Vinter' camo. Looks pretty sweet, but does anybody know any more about it? Is is a trial camo, or has it been adopted for service?

It is the FJS02 uniform. A Gore Tex uniform made by a company called Taiga. It's not adopted in mass by the army, only by a few units (Can be purcased by all contraced personel).
As the pattern is not copyright'ed Taiga has made both std m90 and the winter pattern. It seems like the FJS02 winter is not sold @ taiga.se, maybe it was produced in a limited number to the armed forces.

A new improved system called RS05 is RTM as we speak.

Thanks for the reply - I wouldn't mind getting hold of the jacket, but I guess I'd be very lucky and searching for a long lomg time! Will be interested to see what the RS05 gear looks like!

In my experiance all-white snow camo works way better than multicolored.
Multicolored snow camo in mountains (where there are no trees) will look gray-ish and stick out.
In forest multicolored snow camo can be an advantige. But your equipment will usually be in non-white colors and give you a multicolored look anyway.
Anyways: a winter ghillie suit should be all white - its easier to mask it in other colors than white, than to cover up the non-white spots (when changing tarrain).
The suit certainly looks cool, though...
