the gov center is rough, they wouldnt even let us go in there to respond, so we just listened to all the firefights from our ops....

its kinda like the old movies where u see the whole family sittin around the radio listening to everything, and hearing the booms and seeing the tracers go in every direction, it was nuts.... sometimes when it was closer you really feel like your just helpless and wanting to go in and help but u cant... sucks....

marines often tended to shake the nest abit and we got to handle the strays, either by rollin'm up in snap vcp's or chasin'm back into tamim towards downtown ramadi.....

i just hated it when they would release the guys they jailed in our ao, usually always we got saf all over the place.... little bastards

this is insane and unacceptable that ramadi is still like this. liveleak had some videos recently from ramadi of marines calling in 500lb jdams on buildings extremely close to there fortified positions. this is 2007 I cannot accept that this is still going on. what I would like to know does anyone get compensated when a entire apartment building is leveled because some insurgents are using it as a sniper/shooting position.

its only gotten this bad since the roatation last summer.... ramadi has gone to hell, its back to the wild west again and theres nothing more sickning then to see a yr of hardwork ruined like this.....

Yes they do get compensated. Jag takes care of that i believe.

The look on the reporters face when she was looking at the camera just after the shooting started was like she was scared and kinda exhilirated by what just happened as the Marines began shooting back. That's some of the first reports of Ramadi (that I heard of) getting bad again that I heard of. When did this happen again?
