This is as sick as it gets. Within hours of his death this piece of crap put Tillmans rookie card up with an opening bid of 199.00. The card is only worth a couple of bucks.
He should be drug out in the street and beaten.

I think you may be over-reacting a little bit. It may be kinda incesitive, but c'mon.

Dman, I agree with you. The timing of this is horrible and they're selling now just to make a profit off of his recent death.
If they wanted to sell it before, they should have done that.
(PS: Dman, how did your Christmas airsoft gifts work out? (PS: I'm glad to see you back here. ))

First off, if you look at the date the auction was started, it was AFTER the news was announced. This guy did not have it up for auction until after the news broke. Second, if you want to sell it, fine, if you want to make a couple of bucks, go ahead, but to inflate the cards value by 1000% is rediculous. If he started the auction at a normal amount, and through the course of the bidding it went to this amount, then I would say more power to him, if the people were willing to pay that much then fine. This is not the case. This is a vulture who is trying to make money off this hero.
On the other note, my sons had our first Airsoft battle last weekend. The snow finally melted up here and it went great.

I put "Pat Tillman" in the search...His cards are going for 20-90 bucks.
What do you think about this...
ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE ARMY RANGER FUND.

I think making it into a money raising event for the Ranger fund is a great idea. The majority of cards were going for that amount, it was this one clown that felt he needed to jack it up that high.
The same thing happened with OJ Simpsons Rookie card. It went from a couple hundred dollars up to a thousand the day after he was arrested. But in that situation, he had brought the trouble on himself, it wasnt like the situation with Tillman.
