Do you realise there are about 1000000 different types of Guns and about 100000 Websites that sell them?

Can you ask your Question a bit more.... specific? rofl

Chulo, the gun industry is very inconsistent on pricing. There are column pricing, which means one gun dealer can buy it much less than another another based on the volume they do with that distributor or manufacturer.

It is all sort of a general comparison of price. There is book on gun prices, it list suggested manufacturers list price, which is generally the highest price you will pay.

Philomath gun shop, in Philomath, Oregon, can sell many firearms for less than most "dealers" can buy them for from the distributor, because of the volume they consistently buy at.

On used firearms, Geographics come into play. Depending on where you live specific firearms can vary by a lot.

Haha, +1 for the Philomath gun shop. That's where I bought my AR. I think as a family we've purchased 4 firearms from him so far. Can't argue with $20 above cost, specially when his costs are so low.

Also, I like to browse the Equipment Exchange at www.ar15.com to keep an eye on prices. The prices there are generally lower than you would ever expect to see in a gun store, however.

I go to AIM Surplus for all my firearm purchase needs, I even had them transfer a RRA 9mm AR from Legal Transfer in NH for me.

AIM is Numero Uno, what I would suggest you do, is find an FFL or gun shop you can trust and ask them to quote firearms for you, then compare it to the manufacterers suggested MSRP.

www.gunbroker.com (http://www.gunbroker.com)

I've not used the site personally...but a friend of mine has purchased a weapon off of this site.
