I just wanted to post this as an acknowledgement for the Aussies and Kiwis who fought for and since the Gallipoli campaign.

I've met some Aussies before that felt slightly anti-brit on this day, so this is to let them know we're thankful.

A lot of ANZAC troops payed the ultimate price in this area, fighting the french Vichy troops of Lebanon and Syria, may their soul rest in piece.

In the memory of the fighters .

"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

"We remember them
not flag, nor race, nor cause
but the torn sacrifice of ordinary men
in a war to end all wars."
