The frames are actually not Tanfoglio, but their own. The reason why the mags fit is that they all are CZ-75 copies/redevelopments.

Should try the polymer frame, great pistol, crisp trigger pull, and price tag absolutely outrageous :(

I shot the 9mm version. Very good shooting pistol. The only complaint I have is the slide's profile is too small for me.

You know... I would love one of these... so long as it wasn't a "Baby Eagle" Branded US version.

To answer your question; Yes, the Jericho was made in Isreal. It was marketed in the U.S. with little sales. It was given multiple face lifts and the names/markings have changed over the years but essentially the Jericho 941 is the same as the Desert "Baby" Eagle. Also the manufacturing markings have changed from UZI Eagle from Mossberg, to Magnum Research, IMI and now to IWI.
I have sold many of these guns in 9mm, 40 cal, and 45 ACP and they are very fun to shoot. It would be a better pistol if the slide stop actually worked though. After the last round is fired the slide does not lock to the rear. In my experience they only work on the new 40 cal versions with the red mag follower. Still, nice guns.

As a side note, there are a small number of former Mossad issued Jericho's floating around the U.S. gun market. I was able to pick one up for a friend of mine in excellent condition. The markings on those are very interesting. Very rare pistols.

I had a bad expirience with the 45 version of this pistol. The one I had was embarrasingly under-sprung. I got in touch with their gunsmith at the factory who said that a pistol that sends empty casing flying over 30 feet horizontally is just fine. After the first outting to the range, scratches on the frame started to appear from the cheap coating. Then on the second outing, the slide stop broke. I had to send it to the factory (at my own expense) and got it back with cheap black paint covering the scratches. Other people have been raving about the 9mm, but I have no good feelings about the company.

How are the 45's treating everyone?

Sorry it took so long, here are the pics of the Baby Eagles (the pic quality is poor since I only have a 1.3m digital camera).

The first one is of all three, the top is the 45 ACP, middle is 40 cal, and bottom is the original 9mm Jericho 941. The newer 9mm Baby Eagles say Magnum Research - Desert Eagle on them.

Close up of 45 ACP, notice the full size 45 version has a shorter barrel than the other full size models of lower caliber.

Close up of Jericho 9mm. Notice the older extended tactical slide release and night sights.

I have used the pistol and the main problem is it jams too much!

Reasons for the jams in your opinion?

I havn't had a problem with jamming with any of them. Then again, I mostly shoot FMJ out of them.
