When I was in 29 palms a year ago they were field testing them with a few units there. Supposedly they are one of the new peices of gear to be issued the coming year or so.

When it comes to John Reid nothing surprises me anymore. The guy started off as a marxist who wanted to set up a communist Britain and now is the Home Secretary.

Uh pardon me but Pres Bush had every reason to be in a flight suit seeing as how he just landed in a 2 seat military plane on a carrier deck at sea.
Also do not forget that he actually was a jet pilot.
