I'm taking a road trip sometime this summer down to FL. woot

I went there 2 years ago. Our cruise ship stopped there for about 8 hours before we took off again for Cozemel,Mx.

Didn't get to go on the casino boat, but saw just about every thing else on the Key. Lot's of bums out there. I was pretty suprised to see all the homeless people.

Note this is NOT the southernmost point. The southernmost point is actually on NAS Key West.

Bring a camera, they have a couple of Navy hydrofoils down there as well as the air station and a Coast Guard station.

Last time I was there about six guys did a low altitiude jump out of a C-130, decended and landed in the water in a CHANNEL! Submegerd, never saw them again. Wonder who they were? p-)

I was there last winter. It's a great place to kick back and relax for a few days. If you get a chance to do some water sports it's well worth it.
