Yes, we are the ones who spend millions of dollars on giant protests as well as trying to start a party funded radio station just because no one likes democratic talk shows. I wonder why?

Classic liberalism is what the Republican part is all about. It focuses on tradition, personal responsibility and the restriction of government where it's not really needed. (the whole Dept. of Education is illegal and not needed.)
The liberal (aka- Democratic party) side Republicans foil is actually a socialist party which is more concerned about egalitarianism (the equalness of outcomes, rather than the equalness of opportunity) which requires the government to be involved in every facet of life it seems.
This change came about in the 1930s when FDR had his "progressive" stance on the Constitution and did some great (but illegal) things to help raise the country out of the depression. However, no one wanted to rename the Democratic part the "Socialist party" because socialism equates to communism in American minds (don't ask me why...it just does) and for the better part of a century, being a commie was a bad thing in the States.
So, this 'neo-liberalism' is actually socialism and the Republicans are more classic liberal which, itself, IS moderation between Socialism and Conservatism (which would be something like the Articles of Confederation.)

I dont know any more.
Your country has to many names.
Hmm let's see.
We're the Dutch, speaking Dutch (and Frisian, but that's only a secondary language in the north). Our country is often called Holland, but that's more of an old day and right now there's only 2 provinces called Holland (North- and South-Holland). I believe our official full name is Koninkijk der Nederlanden which is Kingdom of the Netherlands. And then you've got tulip-planters, cheese-eaters, cheese-heads (kaaskoppen / käseköpfe :D), wooden-shoe-wearers and anything else you could come up with. p-) But officially there's just 3 ways.

Wow....isnt the Dutch language another version of French like Belgium?
LOL no.
In Belgium they have 2 official languages; Dutch and French. French is a Latin language while Dutch is a Germanic language. So Dutch is nothing like French, but quite a lot like German.

I have some WW2 letters of my grampas and they're all in Flemmish.
How would you know? They might just be in a dialect from the south-east of the Netherlands... ;)
