Isn't that one of the less-lethal weapons?

MILES with live rounds eh? That should crank up the realism.

Its a Dazzler, a non-leathal laser that blinds your opponet. You point in in the direction and the laser begins to make flashes that make you blind for a short time period. China developed a similar weapon and some tanks now use lasers too, for blinding ground troops and for "blinding" missels.

Sounds useless, wouldnt people at long ranges see where you are then? sounds like a "SHOOT ME I WILL BLINK MY LOCATION!!!"

No it doesn't! Its a non-lethal weapon mounted on a VERY lethal weapon. Some people need to need to be taken down non-lethally.

it is an EOF laser i am not familar with, but shakesfist is right. i would much rather avoid a PR nightmare with one of these thing then worry about wether the enemy see's me or not. we are the ones with that problem over here.
