Sandhurst Competition

I'm not sure if any of you have ever heard of the Sandhurst Competition that the United States Military Academy hosts every year. Its a military compition over 8.1 miles, encompassing 9 different military events (gear check, promask run, boat movement, marksmenship, river crossing, rappeling, grenade throw, 12-ft wall obstacle and the feared commandant's challenge).

Every company in the Corps of Cadets fields a team, as well as teams from the Canadian Royal Military College, Great Britian's Sandhurst, US Naval Academy, US Air Force Academy, and a number of other ROTC programs.

The competition was held this weekend, so I thought I'd share some pictures with the group. Enjoy.

1st place (921/1000): Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Blue
2nd place (913/1000): RMC --->Canadian woot

A little off topic but I had to ask...what sort of helmets do the Canadians use ??

That was 2003. This year British Red won, followed by RMC, British Blue, Air Force and then the Team Black.
