Which weapons/vehicles etc would you equip your army/marines with?

Firearms:

anything that was dirt simple to operate and unbreakable. Using the Keep it Simple principle, anything eastern bloc as far as small arms, anti-armor and anti-aircraftmissiles, light trucks and light armor are concerned. Have them all trained as light infantry. Make them all shooters who aren't afraid to get into a close-in fight. Urban, desert, forest, jungle, arctic, depending on the environment, make them specialists in fighting and surviving in at least two of the aforementioned types of warfare. Forget the advanced stuff as far as heavy armor is concerned. Have a superbly trained artillery unit that can nail a fly's ass at 25 miles away. Give them 155mm mobile G6's, courtesy of the South Africans, and pack them with every advanced GPS that will fit. Use the arty as a precision tool to support your LRRP and forward spotters on the front.
