So anybody seen something or heard anything or has Pics?
Sounds interesting. Do you have an article or something about it? Hmm.. maybe we'll see it on the news sooner or later.

Helex you're such a moron
this rumor started with someone seeing what appeard to be us soldiers carring an aug and a g36 in iraq on the news of which there where no pics exept for one showing what appeared to be us soldiers carring a galil type rifle and an aug but i cant tell from that pic if it was in iraq. personally i think they mixed up some spanish and australin troops or something.
well i dont know how it evolved into the xm8 being tested there. which i am fairly certain it is not at the moment. maybe in the near future.

Over a year ago I heard that it was being tested in Afghanistan.
It is hard to tell what they are doing. I doubt that they had them a year ago, but what do I know.
Anybody got a pic of this gun ? never heard of a M8 .
well there is not m8 if the xm8 gets adopted it will become the m8 but somepeople believe that the xm8 designation refers to anything being adopted next not just the new hk weapon.
do a search and ou will find a lot of info on the xm8.

In this months issue of Soldier of Fortune there is an article on the XM-8 and HKM4, in the article is a letter from a US soldier in Iraq that tested the XM-8. There is also 2 photo's of the soldier with the XM-8 and the background looks like it's Iraq. It wasn't a combat test, just a day shooting the XM-8.

I used to think the XM-8 was a peice of crap, but it looks more realistic and operable everytime a new picture comes out.
I wouldnt rule out the possibility that its being tested. lots of things are being applied for the first time in Iraq... The Stryker, newer model UAV's, Those sound emitting devices that incapacitate crowds, the audio sniper locaters, thermobaric bombs, ect.

The thermobaric bomb is a GBU-27- thats a laser guided penetration bomb, that uses a blast of extreme heat to nuetralize a target instead of destroying it. It was used first in Afghanistan to clear caves of hostiles without collapsing the caves, and then the plan was to drop them on iraqi WMD sites, this way any biological agent would be destroyed by the extreme heat.
Another new fangled device used in OIF for the first time was the E-bomb...

Yeah, we know, but how does it fit in the bong looking thing? Also, when do the fat Israeli girls get involved? I knew it involved a blast of something extreme, but I did not know it was extreme heat. From the look of those party pics, I figured it was a WMD, and I do mean MASS destruction!
I'll quit now. Thanks.
