1st part of April, we get our SCAR's!

I am giddy about it. We are getting our first batch delivered and there is a week long orientation and torture test. I will post pics and video and a review of how they work. I can't say exactly how many we are getting, but it is a BUNCH!

Sounds like the batch that is under production right now with the newly designed rail panels and Insight Tech compatible VFG.

Yeah...I've been pretty jack lately

I have to admit Argyll, Beo, Royal, Ngati and the rest of the motley crew have done a much better job multitasking while on operations.

But having said that......I have become quite adept at using a can of CRC as a flamethrower to shoot down foot long mozzies.

Trunnion, barrel, gas block, lower rail and front sight are all part of the assembly that detaches from the extruded aluminum monolithic rail receiver.

I wonder why a reserve SF unit is getting them before the active duty guys?

FYI- None of the East coast NSW teams have gotten them. One was suppose to get them a few months ago, but it was delayed (again) due to "Bolt Issues".

I know the bolt issue was related to the Heavy. I think the Light is still on schedule.

i would take my AK-101 w/ rails and EOTech up against SCAR-L. i think there should be a 7.62x51 AK-100 series to complement the AK-101

We got notice at drill that it slipped to June following AT. FN is not ready to deliver yet.
