I really believe supporters of teh military have to stand tight and in unison to show these pencil-neck pansies that their "I hate Bush because I hate my father" attitue is not appreciated and their public rantings must be toned down or taken to a shrink.

I would get a drink with you, but my wife will probably have an issue with it. To each his own, but I stand firm. Everybody think's it's OK to GI bash when it's not the serviceman's fault. Even this thread is heading the wrong way. I support the troops and love my country very much. If you don't agree with what's going on in the middle east OK, but there are forums on other sites for it. This is a military-buffs web site and forum.

In FRANCE offending a war memorial, a monument to the fallen or a military cemetery (we have french, american, english, canadian, italian and german cemeteries) is heavily punished by law.
Is there any similarities in the US. The soldier statue "decorated" with a hippie crown is, IMHO, a sacrilege and an offense to the whole nation.

I know it's a military site numb-nuts. How can all of you stand high and mighty as someone bashes veterans? There are other forums for attacking americans. I thought this would be a cool site to hear from vets, military buff and supporters. I guess not.
