Attention mods, this post isn't some half ass crap. I took time to draw up this plan and type it out p-)
After becoming in this lovely South American country, I've decided to pool together all of our knowledge to better arm Colombia's armed forces for the future.
Colombia is a country in South America, situated in the northwestern part of the continent. Colombia is blessed with natural resources, including beautiful beaches, dramatic mountains, and lush rain forests, but it is notorious for political unrest and the violent influence of powerful drug cartels. And despite a long history of democratic government, Colombia has one of the most rigidly stratified class systems in Latin America.

Colombia's Strategic Location and Position
Colombia is the only country in South America with coasts on both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocea. Its neighbors on the east are Venezuela and Brazil; on the south, Ecuador and Peru; and to the northwest, Panama.
As you probably already know, there is a low intensity conflict involving various guerilla groups, paramilitary factions and drug cartels.
Strained relations with multiple neighbors.
Major US Aid recipientMajor defense-related issues for consideration:
Armed conflict plauging regions of the country, raging drugg trade.
Poor relations with left wing Venezuela, Ecuador and Nicaragua.
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration estimates that more than 80% of the worldwide powder cocaine supply and as much as 90% of the powder cocaine smuggled into the United States is produced in Colombia.
Colombia and Ecuador were locked in an escalating dispute as Colombia renewed its program of fumigating drug crops in the border areas of the two South American neighbors, reports said on Thursday.
The escalating war of words between the governments of Venezuela and Colombia over the deteriorating security conditions along their shared 1,375-mile border risks transforming Colombia’s civil war into an international conflict. Commentators on both sides of the border expressed mounting anxiety that the beleaguered Venezuelan regime of President Hugo Chávez would exploit the volatile security environment to distract attention from the domestic opposition’s campaign to force a recall referendum in August.
