Blitz says that Kadijevic as Federal defence minister , did not show qualities of a great military strategist, at the time of the outbreak of war in SFRY, quite the contrary, he adds, it is not clear to many persons why he was not held responsible for military actions in Vukovar or Dubrovnik.
.........
The retired general Ninoslav Krstic said for Blitz, that it is possible that Kadijevic was in 'some way recruited', and that it was used at some moment before and in the beginning of the war in Iraq (or maybe Yugoslavia).
If the Yugoslav/Serb army did not do things like in Dubrovnik or Vukovar then the case for subsequent bombing against it would be much much weaker. :)
So all the subordinates are in Hague and the top fish is still swimming.
That is amazing how he is utilized by Americans
Does he have personal knowledge about Iraqi underground bunkers? I thought he was considered a war criminal but i guess it is ok for America to let him go if he helps out?

Thats how it works. In WW2, we took from Japan their head scientist of the bio weapons division. Clearly he broke a few war crimes but we needed him so we looked over those small issues. Personally I don't see much of a problem with this, thats how the world works.
