Anyways besides that tragic mistake, the operation was a great success and the Mossad got a lot of those terrorists that had mastermind this murderous rampage of the Israeli athletes in Germany in the Olympic village and also in the Germen airport after the failed and disastrous (and amateurish) rescue effort by the Germen special forces there.

As for the Spielberg movie well I am not sure it’s a great idea for there was already a great movie done on this.

The movie is from 1986 and its called Sword of Gideon (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0092038/)

The movie IMO is a well done movie and it IMO does a decent job on chronicling on what’s known about the operations and it includes the success and also the failures (like the killing of that Moroccan waiter etc…) and it has top actors like Steven Bauer, Michael York, Rod Steiger and many more

How can you get an innocent man locked up? It does not happen in Scandinavia. If that guy came to Norway as a refugee there was no reason to lock him up.

The one death in Norway was a tragic accident during the course of a legitimate counter-terror operation. Kind of like how over 100+ civilians were accidentally killed during a Russian counter-terror operation at a Moscow theater. Regarding the theater incident, the world concensus (that I AGREE with--I'm not Russian-baiting here) was that even though those civilians technically were killed by the direct act of the counter-terror agents, not the terrorists, the situation came about ONLY because the terrorists acted the way they did. Some mistakes were made by the counter-terror teams, but at the end of the day, the dead civilians' blood is on the hands of the TERRORISTS. Not Spetznaz. Of course, with Israel, most Europeans would never be so generous, regardless of the circumstances. One accidental death is a "horrible crime," regardless of how many terrorists are killed and how many innocents those terrorists had killed.

Shoot, a lot of you even condemn Operation Jonathan (the Entebbe rescue), even though NOT A SINGLE INNOCENT WAS IN ANY WAY HARMED BY ISRAELI FORCES.

1) a single Palestinian wasn't brutaly murdered - some died because they were terrorists (which is fine) and some were killed by an accident (wich is sad) - unlike 11 sportsman in 1972 who were brutaly murdered (and another 1000 Israelis since then)

There is already a very good movie about the Olympic-attacks, and a very good documentary. Can't remember the names of them now, but saw them some year back (again). A recomended view for anyone.
